Paint Correction · Ceramic
A coating is only as good as the paint underneath it. Machine paint correction removes swirls, scratches and haze first — so you lock in a flawless finish, not the flaws.
Why Correct First
Ceramic coatings are transparent and semi-permanent — whatever the paint looks like when you coat it is what you lock in for years.
Most cars carry swirl marks from years of incorrect washing, plus etching, water spots and light scratches. Under Melbourne sun those defects are impossible to ignore.
We machine-polish the paint to remove those defects and restore true gloss and clarity, then apply your GYEON or ONYX coating over a corrected, mirror finish. The difference is night and day.
Levels of Correction
We match the correction level to your paint and your goals.
A one-stage polish that removes the majority of light swirls and restores gloss — ideal before a coating on a well-kept car.
Compounding and refining to remove heavier defects, deeper scratches and oxidation for a near-flawless finish.
Once corrected, we lock the finish in with your chosen ceramic coating so it stays that way for years.
FAQ
Almost always some level. A coating won't hide swirls — it seals them in. At minimum we recommend a one-stage enhancement first.
A one-stage enhancement is a few hours; full multi-stage correction can take up to two days depending on the paint.
Most swirls and light scratches, yes. Deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat can be improved but not always fully removed.
