Yes — for a mobile detail we just need access to a garden tap and a standard power point, plus a bit of room to work around the car. Most homes and workplaces have both without any issue; if access is tricky, just flag it when you book. Either way you've got both mobile and studio options to suit your setup and schedule.
A detail deep-cleans and protects — wash, decontamination, interior, and a sealant. Paint correction is machine polishing that removes swirls, scratches and oxidation to restore clarity and gloss. Ceramic coating is a semi-permanent layer applied over corrected paint that locks in the finish, repels water and grime, and makes upkeep far easier. The best results correct first, then coat.
If your paint has swirls, light scratches or oxidation — yes. A coating is transparent and seals whatever is beneath it, so any defects get locked in permanently. We inspect every car first and advise honestly: sometimes a single-stage enhancement is enough, sometimes multi-stage correction is worth it.
A correctly prepared and professionally applied coating lasts years — not the few weeks you get from spray-on ‘ceramics’. Melbourne's UV is punishing on unprotected paint, so preparation and product quality matter. We match the coating tier to how long you keep your cars and how they're stored.
A maintenance detail is a few hours; a full detail is most of a day. Paint correction and ceramic coating are typically a one-to-three-day studio process, because the paint has to be decontaminated, corrected, coated and left to cure. You'll get an accurate window when we confirm your booking.
Every car goes back with simple aftercare guidance. For coated cars: leave the first wash a few days, use a pH-neutral shampoo and a soft mitt, skip abrasive automatic car washes, and don't wax over the coating. Correct maintenance washing is what makes a coating go the distance.
